Abstract

Changes in Information Technology (IT) allow schools to utilize databases and applications such as Student Information System (SIS) thus, making the accessing of records centralized. In any field, after higher secondary education there is an entrance examination for getting admission to graduation/ post-graduation college. It may be Engineering, Pharmacy, Medical or any other technical or nontechnical field. The proposed system is an Android application which provides course guidance and helps students to find colleges in engineering field as per the marks they got in their entrance exam (e.g. MHT-CET). It also helps to find Colleges for higher secondary education (i.e., XIIth) for Arts, Commerce, and Science. This application can be used by students or parents in order to get maximum details of the courses in which they want to go and accordingly as per the entrance examination marks in which colleges they are eligible. The application is bounded within Mumbai University (i.e., courses and colleges shown will be under Mumbai University only). To access the application User registration is required.
