Abstract

The Transportation industry has seen an exponential technological growth with the preface of Applications and services which provide with an easy option of travel by booking Cabs which will turn up at the doorstep. Some of the foremost apps in this category are Ola, Uber and so many more. Nevertheless, these apps provide services to the common demographic of people/users. India is a country with over 13 million visually impaired individuals as per Census of 2011. With the advancement of the applications and technologies being available a means of easy and safe transport to these impaired individuals can be proposed. E-Cab Service aims at providing these voice-based transportation services aiming visually impaired as an application which is instinctive to book cabs.
