This paper focused on the roles and responsibilities of an employee in a software industry and opportunities for a student after completion of their under graduation or post-graduation in computer science and related departments. It creates awareness to students belongs to which subject relates to which software field in IT industry like software developer, network engineer, network administrator, Computer Scientist, systems analyst, Business Analyst, Tech Support, IT consultant or specialist and Software Tester.
